Mmmm cookies! I’m going to be completely honest with you…I… am… the “Cookie Monster”!
True story… when I was a teenager I always jumped at the opportunity to babysit my younger cousins. It was nice to be able to spend some quality time with them and of course the extra cash was great too, but the real reason I always said “sure” with great enthusiasm, was because I knew about the homemade cookie stash! Oh how delightful it was to go into the freezer and choose from a plethora of homemade cookies that she kept in great big Tupperware containers. I would eat many… too many actually, and only stopped when the tummy ache started.
These Cookie Recipes were the basis of my childhood, they were the family favorites and I loved to eat them, but nowhere were they more accessible than my Aunts freezer…until the day when she put a lock on it and rightfully so ) Yes these Cookie Recipes are that good! So please do enjoy them as much as I did and still do.

I hate giving poor reviews, but I don't like people wasting money either. The recipes are from scratch, but that doesn't assure mouth-watering "scrumptiousness". All are standard at best, but really fall more into the boring category. To make it worse, the interpretations of the too common cookie types are not very good. This collection might be appropriate as a brand new baker's starting place. The one recipe that was promising was the banana cookie (although it would be improved by tossing in some oatmeal).Product details

Would recommend this cook book to others. Has some great cookie recipes that are easy to make and very tasty.
These are excellent cookie recipes. They are sure to please my family! They remind me of the fresh homemade cookies my mom used to make.

Delicious recipes that were exactly what i was looking for. I promised my wife that I would help her out and bake some cookies for her work fundraiser (she laughed)... well I must say thanks Rose, I got the last laugh on this one.
Cookies might be OK but there is tons of shortening and butter in most every one, more than I want to use.
I have a large family and do bake regularly. These cookies are so so good. I baked up a storm and froze some, imagine my surprise when I went to the freezer and the containers were empty. Apparently the Cookie Monster ate them. Warning baking these cookies may add 10 lbs, cannot just eat one!

Book starts right in with the recipes, which do not have pictures nor nutritional information and the ingredients use shortening and unhealthy choices.
Was hoping to find a really good healthy cookie book.
