This book had a lot of potential when I read the summary. But I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you what possessed me to waste $2.99 on this book. There was one thing that I noticed right away with this book: THE GRAMMATICAL ERRORS. Maybe I'm too much of a grammar nerd but my head was spinning with how many errors were in this book. For example, "Why would bring down their home with magic?" (Chapter 17, second page). I had to read this sentence a couple of times to realize that the "Why" should have been "Who". It seemed as if there was an error in every other sentence. That alone gave me a headache. I don't know if the author meant to have her writing style come off as a certain way, but to me it seemed as if the author's first language wasn't English. The sentences didn't flow, the word usage was questionable, and it drove me insane whenever she would use the word "there" instead of "here". You read about Anissa being shackled up in cabin but she refers to her surroundings as "there" instead of "here"? That word usage doesn't flow with the first person narrative the author wrote the book in. Lastly, there a chunks missing from the book. For example, "It would have meant being dead by then, even. But I would have lived a life without the threat of Not many knew about it. I pulled it out, curious." As you can see there is no ending to that first thought. There's not even a punctuation mark to indicate that the character is jumping to a new thought. This hole in the plot was the last draw for me. And as my subject line indicates, I got halfway through this book & I'm done with it. I'm going to delete it from my device and act like me reading this book was just a nightmare. Now I'm left to mourn over the two dollars and ninety-nine cents that I lost when I bought this god forsaken book.Product details

Redemption League of Vampires Book 1 eBook Rye Brewer Reviews
Anissa was sent to kill Jonah to help her sister who was being held prisoner by their clan leader Marcus. When she sees Jonah something clicks and she can't kill him....this is when their story begins.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters were fun and the storyline was fast paced. New material was laid out from other books I've read. Interesting read!
I like how rapidly the story moves along. A shock to find out Annissa's full heritage. Jonah makes the perfect partner for her, with each willing to give up everything to be together even though they will be in constant danger.
Was surprised to see how I got caught up in the moment of the story. Am ready to read next in the story.
Unusual vampire story with endearing kick-buttt heroine and cool and loyal love interest. Great adventures spiked with great fight scenes, betrayals, friendship, love and loyalty.
This is a good story, but the two main characters fall in love too fast and it's too sappy to be very believable. This is just the first book, and I bought the series, so I'm sure it'll be more to my liking as I read further. Perhaps it's the power of the Fae that draws Jonah to Annisa, or because they are both vampires that there is a strong attraction. Time will tell, on to book two!
I feel like I have heard this story many times except this one was poorly written. The puppy love story, the bad guy, the other bad guy...I feel like I just wasted 4 hours of my life.
